Well, Mesh07 has ended, but I must say that I have come away recharged by the event but, mostly, by the many people that I met. The speakers were engaging and there were a lot of fun moments. Rob and his buddies did a wonderful job in putting this together and should be tremendously proud of what they have, through their passion and vision, been able to pull together.
I think those are the two words that, for me, most describe this event - "passion" and "vision".
I was most impressed by the people I met, many of whom were the founders of start-ups and who had given up so much (secure jobs) to, in the end, "take a chance" and pursue their dream. They were very patient with me, a comparative Luddite, as I asked question after question trying to learn more and take as much in as possible.
